Long rustic planks of European oak are stored in a smoke filled chamber that ages the timber. This process darkens the grain to a rich honey tone, with areas of dark heart wood and occasional streaks of blonde sap wood. Boards are then brushed and sealed with UV cured natural oil which accentuates the warm hue, whilst maintaining the tactile surface in all its rustic natural beauty.
